Final Project Cost

Upon further consideration, I think I will construct the table at  4' x 2' x 2', made from white oak. The project should cost about $40. If I stain the wood, that would be an extra $8-$10.

The table would have a solid top and four legs with no screws showing from the top or sides. This will be the most challenging and interesting aspect of the project, trying to find a way to bind the wood together without letting any of the screws show. This table will look nice, and not like it was thrown together in the shop for a final project or something.
